A powerful earthquake has struck the Pacific island nation of Papua New Guinea. It has caused a lot of damage to property and has spread panic among the residents. The US Geological Survey confirmed that the earthquake struck 67 kilometers from Kainantu city. Meanwhile, there is no immediate danger of a tsunami in Australia, the country's Meteorological Department said.
