National Elections Result in sweden - 2022

Counting of national elections is underway in Sweden.

Sweden's conservative coalition has so far narrowly edged the ruling Social Democrats in national election polls. The Election Commission of the country said that the final result of the election will be announced on Wednesday (September 14).

Sweden's national elections began on August 24. After that, the polling continued till September 11. Counting of votes is going on in the country after the polling.

In this election, the coalition of conservative parties is slightly ahead of the ruling party. So far, after the counting of 93 percent of constituencies, the conservative coalition comprising the Moderates, Sweden Democrats, Christian Democrats and Liberals has won 176 of the 349 seats in the country's parliament. And 173 seats were won by the ruling Social Democrats.

Current Prime Minister Andersen's Social Democrats have been in power for eight years. He hopes that his team will win this time too. On the contrary, Christerson, the prime ministerial candidate of the conservative coalition, believes that his party will come to power by uniting the right.

However, after counting the votes of Swedes living abroad, the final results of the entire election will be announced on Wednesday.

An expatriate Bangladeshi living in Sweden said, we have received the results of 90 percent of the votes. Since no one can come to power alone. I see the possibility of any change.

Another expatriate said that Social Democrats were in power for the last 8 years. We still think they will come.

After such a bitter fight between the two parties, regardless of which party comes to power, political analysts have advised to take necessary steps to change the immigration policy.
